Nosferatu the vampire
Festival Dolomites 2025

Jannik Giger´s composition for the iconic silent film "Nosferatu" (1922) by Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau is a multifaceted work deeply rooted in the symbolic language of expressionist aesthetics. Giger transforms the visual and emotional power of the film into a novel, synesthetic sound world.
The Ensemble Phoenix Basel brings Giger’s demanding composition to life.
